Welcome to my primitive, little blog. My main reason for trying to maintain this blog is to show folks what can be accomplished by spending some time in the field admiring our feathered friends. I use a very inexpensive camera, only have dial-up internet access (sorry for the photo quality and lack of fancy video) and do not "adjust" any of the photos. Some photos are better than others, just like the views we get from our binoculars. I don't have much writing experience (It's just not my thing) and try to keep my hours beached in front of a computer to a minimum. I feel the most comfortable outdoors and thats where I spend most of my time. I hope you enjoy!

All photos copywrited by The Blue-collar Birder.
